Recently I was asked to write an article for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s (CHOP) Arcus research group. For my first topic I decided to talk about my views and experiences with spreadsheet culture within a diverse healthcare environment. I also tried to elaborate on the pros, cons, ins and outs of this ubiquitous tool and how to optimize and interact with it in today’s working world.
You can find this article on the Arcus education website here laden with some of my personal brand of humor. I hope you find it informative and helpful, whether you’re a coder trying to work in a non-coder’s world or you’re new to coding and skeptical of this new fangled threat to your beloved Excel infrastructure.
I briefly touched on my views regarding the spreadsheet in a previous post which you can find here which also explained a unique process for analyzing .xlsx files in R.
